As if seven children weren't enough... we thought seven Sphynx would make things a little more interesting. :)
Though, seriously, our oldest son has an allergy to cats. I personally grew up with and have adored cats my whole life. Unfortunately, since having children, we had been catless. :(
Approximately four years ago, I realized the prospect that a hairless cat may be something that Tyson's allergies could tolerate. I could not have been more excited at the possibility of having a cat in my life again. We brought our first Sphynx kitten home and I immediately fell in love. Well, I was in love with her before we ever brought her home... waiting for her to be old enough to come home to us was torture. To our surprise, Tyson had no allergy issues with her.
Her personality was the most amazing. She loved to play but at heart, she was a lover. Just what I wanted! We all could just not get enough of her.
I spent countless hours learning more and more about the breed and falling more and more in love with our girl. With this, we decided we would try our hand at breeding. And breeding, to not only help better the breed, but to help culitvate the most amazing little personalities these guys have.
